Five Nights at Freddy’s partners with Dead by Daylight for 10th anniversary
Five Nights at Freddy’s is celebrating its 10th anniversary in a crossover with fellow horror game: Dead by Daylight. Given DBD’s multiplayer focus, the promotion will allow FNAF fans to play together in the otherwise solo-player franchise.
Behaviour Interactive, the developer of Dead by Daylight announced the collaboration on X earlier today. Currently, there are very few details known beyond a summer 2025 release date.
In previous brand crossovers, Behavior Interactive introduced a new version of the “killer” character players could use to hunt down foes in the asymmetric horror game. While it could be more elaborate, it’s highly likely players will be able to take on the role of FNAF’s signature killer animatronics.
Scott Games had teased that Five Nights at Freddy’s would crossover with another gaming franchise earlier in the week. Dead by Daylight was a popular choice among fans. However, some are disappointed that the collaboration wasn’t with Epic Games’ Fortnite.
